Being a black woman I like to ensure my hands and cuticles are creamed at all times and not dry (don’t you hate it when your hands are so dry it come like brillow pad..lol) I also find my cuticles to be dry which is a personal problem of mine, especially in these cold winter months. So I always try and get the best hand cream which keeps my hands and cuticles well moisturised at all times.
Here are a few top picks of good hand creams that have worked for me and my crusty cuticles.
- Nivea cream (the little round blue tub) – old school but keeps my hands well moisturised and my cuticles too and you don’t have to use a lot of it either.
- Hemp from Body shop – give you lots of moisture which is needed for these winter months and also is good for my cuticles, but doesn’t smell great. I only use this for winter.
- Crabtree & Evelyn Lily Ultra moisturising hand therapy – smells nice and has moisture but I find I have to apply quite a bit to get in all those creases.
- Argen Oil hand cream – now I’ve just purchased this and haven’t used it yet, so will keep you posted on this one, as we know the oil is good for the hair, so lets see if it’s good for the hands too.
